A Night With Elle Canada & Geurlain

Hey loves!

This past Wednesday night I had the chance to attend the Elle Canada event in Toronto for Angelina Jolie’s new fragrance with Geurlain, Mon GeurlainI got to go with my best friend Sam, which made the experience. We started our morning with a drive to the city, followed by checking into our hotel, then heading to the Eaton Centre to get myself a last-minute outfit, because apparently, I hate planning outfits beforehand 🙂 The event started at 6, so by the time we were settled we were on our way over. The event was held in the Geurlain boutique on Bloor St West, and it was beautiful! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and had the chance to look around. This event included the debut commercial for the fragrance, along with a history of the company, pared with getting to smell the fragrance itself. We received some fragrance as a parting gift, and I can honestly say it smells amazing! As well as the stunning bottle it comes in, it’s nothing short of what you’d except from such an amazing collaboration.

After the event, we headed too El Warehouse too see our friend Spencer which was so fun! Also, to grab some drinks and food. I had heard about the Warehouse chains, and it was unreal! Such a cool place. We than met up with some great people we met at the event and headed over to a hidden bar in the city called Escobar. If you ever get the chance to go to this bar, GO! It is so cool and secretive. I’m not kidding when I say that, you need a password to get in and the password changes on the daily. It was a cool place, with cool people. Just a place you feel comfortable being at.

The last thing I was so excited about was Japanese Cheese Cake! I have been seeing these things all over the internet, and was so excited when Sam brought up a shop she had been too where they sell these! The place we went to was called Uncle Tetsu’s Japanese Cheesecake. These cheesecakes were only 10$ and amazing! And the store itself was super cute 🙂 Overall, Toronto treated us well for the 24 hours we were there.

Now I’m back to reality studying in the library for mid-terms! Thanks for reading loves, I hope you enjoy the rest of your night! xx
